Noble
I've been saying a long time that at best he is championship material, very poor, loses the ball and sprays the odd pass about but apart from that nothing, wekens the midfield and last night it was so lightweight,if he was not local would not get within a mile of team,England 😂😂😂😂😂 I know they picked some shit but really?

Re: Noble
I like Noble he's West Ham through and through but I have to agree with you Norwich If we're going to progress you have to look at players like Noble and think would he get into the top six teams ? No he wouldn't he's always lacked that extra yard IMO.

Re: Noble
Im a fan of his and think we need his leadership, passion and 100% every time he steps onto the pitch.

But against teams like Citeh last night he gets overun far too easily. Kouyate was needed to play alongside Obiang to try and get near Silva and Toure.

He needs a good game on saturday now.

Re: Noble
Last night he won a few balls ...picked up a few loose ones from being in the right place...one or two nice cutting passes.

He also got caught in posession a few times. Dithered on passes and ended up going backwards..Dived in to challenges resulting in either a free run for their midfielders or giving away a free kick in a dangerous position.

Basically the bog standard usual game from noble. At least he is consistent

Re: Noble
Don't think he would get in the bottom six mate, the ball is precious but we give it away for fun, last night they needed to win which put a little pressure on them but we did not take advantage of that, hold the fucking ball.

Looks far better and far more comfortable away from home.... at home granted... he's playing piggy in the middle

Re: Noble
He had an average game last night, but just look at things like his ball forward to Antonio in the first half. Could have been a goal had the touch not been poor. If there's one CM who should be picked out for last night, it's Obiang. Timing for tackling was off, movement wasn't great, and then that pass...

At best he is Championship material? Are you an imbecile?

Re: Noble
For me when he does do the right things he does them well.

But for me he doesn't do enough and he just does not learn. Goes jumping into tackles around our box and gives away too many silly free-kicks.

And he gives the ball away in dangerous areas.

Love the bloke but if I was in charge I would be saying to him this season is really going to be the last season he will be a contender for the first team as in the summer we will be looking to upgrade.

If he wishes to hang about and fight for a place but prepared to be a squad player then I would allow that. But he needs to know his time is up.

As I say I love the fella and I just hope it doesn't end up him being picked for too long and getting coated.

Re: Noble
Obiang did have a stinker last night to be fair. Which probably made Noble look slightly better.

Re: Noble
hes lost form

what the real problem is not having signed squad players that are any good so cannot step in when he needs to miss out

Re: Noble
Good enough for a top Championship side or a bottom PL side (perhaps that's what we are?) ...

... but if we are to improve and push on I'd say he is one that should be replaced.

Missing Kouyate?

Re: Noble
Always makes me laugh when someone tries to be constructive about a player losing his game and then others shout him down by saying there are worse players in the team !

Hardly a ringing endorsement of Noble

Replace with Fabregas in the Summer, will Noble except being a squad player?

I don't think he will. He is a player. He won't sit around. He would be a great acquisition for a team chasing promotion in the Championship.

Re: Noble
He's been on a slow decline all season, too slow, too ponderous, would probably be a sweeper if such things still existed!

Surely his last season with us? Would be a good acquisition for a promoted team or one chasing in the Championship, as has been said.

I want to see more of Fernandes, lad looks decent

Carroll would disagree with you (interview in the mail) and partly because of that I will also disagree.
Also, it seems like these posts have been posted here almost daily since he first pulled on a Claret and blue shirt.

Re: Noble
During yet another painful breakaway witnessed last night the bloke behind me said..."just watch Noble"

He was literally at 6's and 7's...didn't know who to mark, who to track, where to run - think perhaps his time is coming to an end, pace of the premiership is so key now and he just doesn't have that...that said love the bloke as a West Ham player...but Obiang and Kouyate holding now to firm up this defence!!
